About the 72 Hour SNES Fest

Picture
The 72 Hour SNES Fest is a three-day video gaming marathon benefitting the Make A Wish Foundation.  Throughout the three-day marathon, different members of The Speed Gamers (TSG) Community will take part gaming and commentating in an attempt to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation, and they will be joined by the host of the marathon, Jasef (JasefWisener in the TSG Community), and three friends (Jeffrey, Alex, and Robert) that will be gaming and commentating in a central location. Fun games and events are planned to help raise money, and a couple of prizes will be raffled off to donators. For more information about the marathon, check out the SNES Fest topic in the TSG Community at http://community.thespeedgamers.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12320.

The Make A Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that grants wishes to children of ages 2 to 18 who have life-threatening medical conditions. Since 1980, the Make A Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities. For more information about the Make A Wish Foundation, check out their website at http://www.wish.org.

All money raised in the 72 Hour SNES Fest will be immediately donated to the Make A Wish Foundation through PayPal. To donate during the marathon, click on the Chip-In widget above the streams on the main page. You can donate through PayPal or with a credit or debit card. The Chip-In widget is one of the safest ways to donate to charities online. At the conclusion of the marathon, the donation receipt will be posted on the main page of this website.
